Developer Notes:
This is a Work In Progress. You can probably tell by the artwork (as awesome as it is) and the generic audio and lack of effects. This is a build for a future KickStarter campaign in which I'm attempting to raise money for artwork, audio and just the overall completion of the game.
Game Notes
Deck Builder: Does not work yet, but you can preview how the filters will work when you have a list of unlocked cards to build your deck
Level Select: Just a placeholder for the single-player campaign. All the buttons lead to the same gameplace experience.
AI: I am currently working on different AI types and tactics within the game, but the one within the build is pretty basic and overall kinda stupid.
Game Notes:
- Players have a set number of Action Points given each turn. Some cards require more Action Points (AP) than others. In order to play the better cards, turns must be skipped in order to bank the AP for the next turn.
- On each card the AP cost, attack and defense are all listed. On some cards (Priest) there is only a buff displayed.
- Priest cards are buffer cards. You play them on top of other combat cards in order to increase the base card's stats.
Gameplay:
- Place desired card(s) on the combat placements in the center of the game.
- When you decide to end your turn, click on the icon on the right side to go to the next game state. The order is always the same, but it's random to determine whether you or the AI will go first. (See below list of game states)
- Player 1 Card(s) Placement
- Player 1 Card(s) Attacks
- AI Card Placement
- AI Card(s) Attacks
- If there is an empty space across from a card, it'll attack the overall health of the opponent.
- If there is a card across from a card, it'll attack the card and if any remaining attack points will be removed from the overall opponent health.
